So I was in Sam Goody today and I was browsing through their CD racks when I finally came upon DJ Shadows Endtroducing. It took me almost a year to find this record. So I plopped down my $20 for it and hastily bought it. Well, let me tell you that its like a mind trip for your brain without drugs. Seriously. I could listen to this album all day and be in a utopia all of its own. Hands down this has become one of my favorite records ever.

Metroleum Records:

DJ Shadow is an essential artist and this is a must-have album. We're talking brain food. Shadow is a master at laying down complex sonic combinations - lyrically, a William S. Burroughs of music. He has a distinct style that comes through the music. I hate to refer to a specific song like I'm writing a thesis - but the line that sums it up is "The music's coming through me."

I would really suggest going out and buying the record. Even if you don't like the type of genre.

Ugh To each his own. ?In my opinion that had to have been one of the most annoying things I have fucking heard in a long while.

EDIT: ?I have now listened to eight complete songs from this Album. ?I am unchanged in my decision.

It's more of a trip hop genre but retailers tend to classify and group it with Electronica.

I would upload but I bought my album. Plus I have 56k, so that would take a while to upload.
