MadChild has been gone for a year :(

It was one year ago today that MadChild passed away.

For those of you who never knew him, he was a funny guy who posted on these forums and often came on to IRC in the early AM hours. Some people might remember him from the old CS OTF where he was a regular poster. In the early hours of January 1, 2003 he was struck and killed by a drunk driver while walking home after new year celebrations. He was only 20-years-old.

I just looked at that thread and I'm ashamed that I never replied in it. Madchild was a great guy. Thankfully the rest of our year has passed without any other bad news.

I miss him. I never had a friend die on me. I've heard of people dying at school, but I never knew them. But, I have talked to him on the phone, chatted with me, and it feels horrible. I would do anything just to have him back for a night.

wtf I never knew !

I crashed 6 days ago on the highway, I was very very lucky but I could have very well ended up dead too...... frightning :/
