Soda or pop?

I'm from the east, so i call it soda, but out west, they look at me like I just shot their loved when when i order a soda. So i'm curious to know, which of you call it soda, and which of you call it pop?

It's pop, soda is carbonated water you put in juice to make it fizzy.

Also my location is Canada, namely Toronto.

i always ask for a coke. but then when they say "sry we dun got coke we have blablabla" im like "yeah, whatever." so i voted coke.
