Oh man I had a great idea for this, but unfortunatly my car fell apart over the weekend. If I can get it fixed before I move I'll definitly get in on this.

Those two entries look great. :)

I thought this was rather amusing. I guess the bridge tender hasn't shown up since before the hurricane.

WAIT! Here's my entry! :)

This is the old Railway Trestle across "The Gut" which is where a couple rivers merge and empty into Bay St. George. The water is very deep and the currents are crazy, which makes walking across the bridge a little unnerving considering the 5 inch gaps between the railway ties!

BTW, I like these photo battles, we need to keep doing this!

I need to get a shot of the Chesepeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, how long before the battle is over?

Agreed. Any more entries anyone? How about a new battle? Or has all interest been lost?

this is the amelia earhart bridge. it spans the missouri river connecting atchison kansas (where i'm from) with missouri. as you can see at ground level there are railroad tracks. there is also a train bridge nearby. it's on the opposite side of the bridge from where i stood to take this picture. i.e. over my right shoulder

how about we continue with statues near where you live/work/attend school

this is a sculpture of a figure doing karate. it's a very large sculpture that is on the lawn of the law building at the university of kansas.
