heh... I already tried the Balut. Never again.... lol :P
Yesterday I sat in the office as an earthquake hit for 3 seconds... small one luckily... today I got stuck in an elevator twice... the fun never ends... :)
Sometime next month Im going to go shooting with an M16 Armalite for fun.

It doesnt get much news coverage as it really wasn't that bigger deal but there was a protest by a Senator and some of his followers from the military and they locked themselves in the hotel next to my apartment..

Nobody died I believe and no one was hurt. The protesters surrendered without firing.
I got asked some questions by the media but I was kinda unprepared so I hope no body rapes me for babbling uneducated opinions on camera... :( Anyway I was being a camera whore... like I usually do.

also, best sleep i ever got was on a boat in rough seas.
Ta. :) I didn't do bad at all.. hit all the large targets and a fair few of the smaller ones. Bloody harder than games make it out to be though heh :)
Did you get rocked to sleep on a boat? :) I had to hold my stomache down somewhat.. especially when walking.. but all in all I held it in... so proud.. not like those land lubbers.. arrr...

yeah shooting isn't too hard until you start trying to hit targets quickly or far away :ph34r:

i've been keeping tabs on your progress and can quite honestly say i'm totally lost now. every time i hear from you you're in totally different place doing something totally different. bloody jealous though mate that's for sure. smart arse.

Yeah I have the wanderlust. Ive been in the Philippines for since last September working and living here. Its been kind of stressy and alot of things have happened and yet I get bored very quickly... I met a nice girl from England who happens to be my next door neihbour, we hooked up we broke up and now we're friends.. lol alot seems to have transpired over the months but all for the better.
I've travelled alot the past 2 years, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Indonesia, Philippines, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy and stop overs in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Qatar.
I plan to travel to Iran, Libya and Oman at some point to complete my list of middle eastern countries to see and then mabey progress to India/Africa/Tibet/Nepal and China.
Anyway that all depends on cash really. At the moment Im working on a solution in the Phils... :)
One of the sad things about traveling for longer periods of time is the lack of contact with friends etc... Im sure I will see alot of them again but I know to many of them will not really care or be able to share the experiences I had. Last year I took my best mate along with me to Syria/Jordan and Egypt. Its pretty rewarding to be able to share laughs and nervous moments.
Anyway sorry to babble :) I will continue to post my experiences here.. I actually ended up going back over some of my travel logs here and was surprised to see the pictures still working. So I added them to my facebook account.
Anyway I will be another 5 months in the Phils so hopefully I'll have some more travel like pics to post if I can get out and about from Manila. Theres some volcanoes around the place I wouldn't mind seeing.
