no im not a fag, and the french fucking suck, they lost WWI and WWII...damn fags.

im not talking about the underground resistance, im talking about the french military......what happened in WW2 oh thats right germany came in and raped france up the ass and took control of it within a few months.

Pretty weak come back. If french forces had been prepared or even in the slightest expected it then they would have lasted longer, but the germans both times ahd been secretly buidling up their military might. Had the US been there neighbor instead of France the same thing would have been inevitable. Playing catch ups a bitch especially when your already down by oh say 30 to 40K of military members. Please read your history yo. And not just text book and US made historical books.

If the french are so great then why did they not prepare for germany? ?Everyone knew that hitler had come to power and was beginning doing something behind the curtain. ?france should of gotten a clue and started building up.

anyway that just shows that the french military sucked....even if they werent prepared for germany as you say, you would think they would have some military to stop the french.

What about england? They held up during the several months germany bombed britian.

First I need to decipher what ever went wrong with this quote.

1. I never said the french where great.

2. No one really knew what Hitler was doing or planning. And as such with limited financial and natural resources a build up would have put strains on the already strapped french economy.

3. I have no clue what this means: "even if they werent prepared for germany as you say, you would think they would have some military to stop the french." I mainly dont understand it because the Germans did have an army to defeat the french.

4. England. lol Welcome to Mental Giant land for you have just enetered. Being bombed and being bombed and suffering from a ground invasion as well are two different things. The germans never successfully where able to pull of a ground invasion. Mainly because deployment to British soil meant para-drops or amphibious landings. Para drops where not good because of AA weaponary and constant patrols by the British on there own soil. Coastal landing would have proven to be almost impossible with the bBritish fleet patrol the waters surroung the UK. Not to mention the artillery and cannons on the shore lines capable of shelling incoming invaders. German mini subs where the only option(much like the ones found here off the island waters.) but a mini sub doesnt hold enough people to do much more than recon and spy.

From what I have heard when hitler came to power he started making speeches about world domination, etc. To try to prevent this from happening, the UK let germany annex czechslovakia (sp?). By the time this happened, anyone who wasn't stupid would realize something was up and since the french border germany, you would think they would start to build up their military. Not to mention you think they would of learned from WWI when germany invaded them.

Another thing, maybe our government let the pearl harbor attack occur so that our country would become prowar. We were coming out of the great depression and what better way to create jobs than to shift into a war driven economy. But thats a whole other story.
