Is it sad of me to admit that I'm purposefully not reading or watching any HL2 media for fear that they'll spoil my enjoyment of the game?
I want a complete black-out. I don't want anything to ruin my enjoyment of the game, in fact, I'm trying to lower my expectations of it too... come September 30, I'll be convinced HL2 will be far poorer than the original and that I'll be shelling out $50 for a pathetic game trying to succeed based solely on the success of the original.
You see, I wish I had that kind of willpower, but I don't. That's why I thrive off of crap like this.
Ive seen the 4 from E3, plus the one that was on Fileplanet.
Im gonna pre order it, along with Halo 2 for xbox.
Yeah, I have those already. Everything looks motherfucking sweet. This WILL be the best game of all time.
The new 600+ MB movie from Fileplanet is supposedly the same E3 stuff, but with some new things as well and all in high-res.
Holy crap, this stuff is good. I am liking this teammate AI, it could possibly open the doors to some single player modes to mods. Speaking of mods, I seriously cannot wait for a DoD based on this engine. The makers of Natural Selection would have a field day with the new features. I hope a new super mod is born with this engine, something with realistic modern warfare. They could charge up to $80 for this game and I would still buy it, and I am one cheap son of a bitch.
