These are pictures from "The Real World" exhibit, by Tom Otterness. It's basically a collection of strange statues of outlandish characters.
It's supposedly loaded with symbolism, like in the picture with the huge penny, the rich are sipping wine on top while the working class are knocking them off from the bottom by rolling the huge coin. It is in the financial district of Manhattan so most of the symbolism relates to capitalism or other adult themes. Adult themes include a man and woman in a sexual position inside the base of a large severed head. The men and women can be told apart easily; the women have large breasts and the men have penis-like organs.
Oh, all of this is in a children's playground. The kids I saw there actually grab the penises. Paging Yucky.
