It's a nationwide program where you take college level classes and at the end of the course you take an AP test about the class you took. You can get between a 1 and 5 on it. You get college credit depending on what number you get. Some accept 3's, 4's, and 5's some only 4's and 5's, and top universities only accept 5's.
