but on the subject of pernets, i think mine are stupid. they sent me to this dumb school my dad went to that wants "school pride" and thinks its so great. every 10 weeks theres exams. my dads like wanting me to study for like 5 weeks b4 them ALL THE TIME. hes like "ok, exams start in 5 weeks, your studying all weekend. today ill give you 10 mins off and 20 mins for dinner then get back into it" and my mum just repeates what he says, as they have this mentality that "you arent smart if you dont study for like 200 hours when ur 14" "hes a doctor - he has to be smart" "were older than you so we know you shouldnt play computer even though we dont know what its about" they think that if i dont study for at least 5 weeks non stop for a 2 hour exam that counts for nothing, ill be a streetsweeper or whatnot.
another exmaple of how dumb they are - a small piece of metal came out of my dads 4 year old car so the anti roll bar holder vibrates a little bit when were driving. so now he wants to take the car to the mechanics house on xmas day and yell at the dar dealer for selling him a dud car and demand a new car for the xmas period and for them to fix the car for free. ffs, what a skinflint, he cant fucking accept that things can break.

My parents never smacked me, but my grandmother would. She was an ex-nazi and was totally racist. So one day I was over with my best friend at the time, who happend to be black.
Well, I can't play with 'nigger kids' because I could 'Become a gangster' so what did she do? She kicked me out of my own god damned house!!
Did I mention she Kicked me out of my house? Yea, she basically lifted me up (She was german after all) drug me to the door, and kicked me like a soccar ball out of the house!
It didn't hurt or anything, but I was a little upset. I didn't mind though, because I went ot the garage, got my fishing gear and went fishing down on Lake Ontario with Josh.
My grandmother lived with us almost 3 days after my parents found out that I was kicked out at 8 years old, and went fishing by myself. Didn't speak to her for almost 9 years after that either. Only saw her again 1 year before she died. She was actually really a cool person, and spent at least $20,000 on me before she died.
Also my dad and I both took karate, so we use to spar with eachother an awful lot. He once gave me a black eye.

I don't agree with beating children, giving them the belt, or anything like that. However, I believe that there are times when physical force may be necessary. A small slap is all I'd probably give if the problem was severe enough.

i was just at the mall yesterday and i saw this woman really beating the shit out of her kid just because he picked up some candy and asked if he could have it. i called mall security and i saw the police there at the security office when i left so hopefully shes gonna get legally fucked...maybe it was for somehting else though
