I think I am on the mend :) This must have been just a really terrible cold. I actually got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and the pain is way less and the swelling has gone down a bit as far as I can tell. I'm so happy.

Added picture. Yes, they appear much smaller today :)

Taking codeine was a bad idea lol. I took 4 tablespoons (dosage is 1 tablespoon), slept for about 7 and a half hours, during which time I vomited up my dinner. it is now 9 hours after taking and I still feel like utter shit and wish I had never tried it.
