I might be aquiring an illegal laptop pretty soon. I need to know any tips of disguising it away so I can't be caught with it. I know it sounds shady.. becuase it is.. but i'm getting it for 150 because the guy realized he can't get rid of them on ebay. Thats what you get fuckhead for stealing uni laptops.
Yeah, so i need any tips anyone has for cleaning the registry.. and serials and all that lovely stuff.
I'm going to remove all the uni badges and probably paint it ala hackers becuase thats what you're supposed to do with it according to that movie. THen im gonna probably hax the gibson on it through mien weirles networx
If no one knows.. im going to see my local tech friends at our shady bestbuy to get some "work" on it. They will be able to fix it at least ?.?

format + reinstall. If you need an OS, I have Xp Pro that i can "get" for you.

All you really need to do is do a full format of the hard drive. There's nothing special on school computers or any software that could remain after formatting that they could track you with. You could always get a new hard drive if only for peace of mind. Formatting will remove everything, all serial numbers and registation keys. Download yourself the Windows XP Pro version that everyone and their mom has a copy of. You can find it on kazza or wherever and it doesn't require any activation. Install that on the formatted hard drive and you'll be golden my dear boy.
Also, Pro-tip: The people working at BestBuy don't know more about computers than you or me. They're just dopes they hire off the street, no experience necessary.

yep. i have the same copy that "everyone and their mom has", eheh.
but i changed the CDkey so that i could download SP1. i got the new one from a list of keys off some .nl haxor site.
