So anyway, I don't really watch a lot of TechTV but every now and then when i have nothing better to do I'll tune in. Well a few weeks ago I was flipping through the channel guide and turned to TechTV. Low and behold, it had changed completely, new format, all games and gaming and gaming news and any other damn thing that's game related.

I used to watch the Screensavers from time to time. Leo and Pat, good stuff. Answering users questions, tech news, new tech products, user tips, good stuff like that. The new Screensavers is complete shit. It's bloated with irritating low-brow humour, Leo and Pat are gone, and it spouts nothing but mindless drivel as content.

TechLive is gone, Call for Help is gone (unless your in Canada, which I am). But the new Canadian Call for Help is taped and not live and has lost much of it's edge.

There's nothing but programming about gaming on TechTV now!

Anyway, I figured this rant was too long so I stayed out of detailing anymore of my annoyances with the new G4TechTV.

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

I found G4 on my cable just about a week before they took over TechTV, and I was astonished by how crappy it was. Then they merged with TechTV. I never watched TechTV before but G4 hasn't changed much, so I guess the TechTV part has sort of been phased out of it in all but name.

I don't have a TV, but I did used to watch TechTV, and in related news, Cat Schwarz now has a column in Stuff magazine, with scantily clad photos and all.
