Last time I went snowboarding I was hit by a skiier and plowed into a tree breaking my wrist. The time before that I was going backwards down the bunny hill watching my sister learn to snowboard as I hit a patch of straw covering a muddy patch of snow(it was early season), and broke my wrist.
Yes, I broke my wrist twice in one season, and have never snowboarded since. I stick to Nordic skiing.

Ever since I sprained my wrist snowboarding (on the third day out on my brand new board, no less!!!) I have been too pussy to try again. I might go this winter though.
one time in elementary school I went skiing and I took the chair lift to the top of the hill and I was too scared to ski down so I took off my skis and they slid down the hill on their own. I started to walk slowly down the hill and the boots are so hard that I started to lose control and went into a small trot...then into a full blown run...down a hill...filled with people....in ski boots. I don't think I have gone skiing since.

you're a noob. i love skiing. to be honest, the best part of skiing around virginia/west virginia is that there are a lot of beginners. while frustrating, it also makes for interesting wipeouts at the same time loo. slopes are kinda hectic and dangerous there because of people. anyway, i love wiping out and i guess sliding 50 feet is really fun to me :D
