Oh, and if this does have anything to do with Iraq, then it's my confirmation that Bush is an idiot on a very large scale.

Iraq a threat. What bullshit.

i bet you $100 that if the UN doesnt support the US within like the next month, bush will bomb Iraq on his own.  I think Iraq is a threat, Saddam is making obviously making bioweapons and wont let the UN inspectors regulate him.

hey man i live bout 1hr 20min from NYC, 15min from Philly and like 2-3hrs from DC.....sooo I live right in the middle between 3 major cities :D

Oh, of course he's going to most likely bomb Iraq any way. This entire UN ordeal just stalls it.

But Saddam is not a threat, despite what Bush may say. Here's the facts.

-If he he launches any of his bioweapons against ANY other country, he's going to get fucked with extreme prejudice. Saddam wants to stay in power, he's not stupid.

-He's been disobeying the UN for 10 years. Wow, Israel has been doing it for 35 years. The US is a big hypocrite.

-Even if he did launch his weapons, he does not have the technology to go past his borders. If he were to fire, he'd just be blasting apart his own country.

-The US has almost no supporters except for the ass kisser, Tony Blair.

-There is a chance that he might be giving his weapons to terrorists. I'm not going to dismiss it, since it could be very real, but there's no proof that he is. And even if he was, they would inevitably be traced back to him and he'd be taken out. Plus, there's no way any terrorist is going to smuggle any nuclear or bioweapon into America in this current state.

-Surprise Surprise. Iraq has oil.

-The majority of the US populace want Saddam taken out. However, the majority also believes that we should not invade Iraq if we do not get the UN's support. Aren't world leaders supposed to represent the people and carry out their needs; lead them? Bush is certainly doing a bad job so far.

If you ask me, this non-existent war is to avert the eyes of the public from problems within their very own country, make him out as some sort of hero, and get some oil along with the hard day's work.

those are some very convincing statements,  in what way is israel disobeying UN?  Your talking about how they are stilling pushing into palestine right?

I can just see it now though,  if Bush does attack Iraq we could have a WW3 on our hands, with the US fucked.  Since no other country in the UN wants to attack it could turn into an almost everyone vs united states.

Yup.

And that's what gets to me. Bush is attempting to wage an unnecessary war on a bunch of baseless "facts" and what-ifs. But I doubt it would turn into a US vs. Everybody since most countries dislike Iraq and because we're also necessary for trade.

Still, it's really a ball-breaker to watch some brain dead redneck rush out and make the US look bad again.

thats very true, no country would be on Iraqs side, maybe some countries in the middle east, but besides that no country would exactly be on our side either if or when we invade Iraq.  As for trade, that is very true too, not to mention all the money that we give out to other countries to help them.

But you never know, anything is possible, the southern states during the Civil War didnt believe that britian or the US would be able to survive without their cotton and other crops, but look what happened to them.

That's all very true. But you can't wage a war on the assumption of what could happen. At least not in this day and age.

America could very well just snap and decide to blow the hell out of Canada.
