im going to go buy a new gfx card for my comp, and i just happen to have alot of money, which would u rather chose? radeon 9500 or geforce 4 Ti4600?  :pimp:

geforce. on the grounds that ive always had nvidia and have never tryed ati.

John Carmack (UR FUCKING GOD) said that ATI is currently ahead of nvidia. This is because of the time nvidia spent working on the chip for X-Box.


 


However, he also mentioned that nvidia is still better with their drivers. But in terms of power, the ATI card is better.


 


Interesting note: id has been running its more recent demonstrations using the ATI Radeon 9500. Take that for what it is.

9700 is better right now.  But if your current card is good enough i would hold out for the next nvidia card come christmas time.  It's sure to please :)

er if i were you i would wait a couple of months for NVIDIA's NV30, but if u wanna dish out the cash now go for the 9700 Pro.
