i had high expections for that movie, perhaps a good pacific war movie (other than pearl harbor, which was too much talking than needed), i got this whole feeling that the lead guy (name who left me) was rambo himself, jumping over stuff with hsi thompson and shooting 10 guys, while his allies, get stuck in wires and get blown up without even seeing battle, it just surprised at unreal the movie seemed, i could not get into the plot at all.  after the indians started doing martial arts, i just wanted to stab myself and over dose on midol which is about the stupidest thing in the world to do.

this movie deserves to die (nicholas cage, it hink) needs to die also.

thx

Action sequences where in awesome in true John Woo style but that is all the movie had.  Truly was not even a true tribute to the Windtalkers at all.

When you make a reference to John Woo when talking about a war movie, that's when you know it was bad.

I guess there has not been a war movie yet to surpass Saving Private Ryan.

John Woo should stick to over-the-top action films. That's what he's good at...

Now what would seriously kick ass is if John Woo did a Disney movie.
