I just got retail, and the fucker wont run. Wont even start up.
I install it, everything is fine. Click the icon. NOTHING!
I checked fansites and I am not alone, it seems to be happening to a lot of people. So if you're pissed off, KILL YOURSELF!
I had similiar issues with the leaked version, I got it to work but it still CTDs after about 10 minutes of play.
I've never played any of those Sim games. Any good?

I remember being addicted to the Original Sim City forever. They are great games. The Sims is enjoyable, but only in a weird kind of way. Although I have to say the games have gotten increasingly more difficult. Alot more things require your attention.

I tried disabling this, that, upgrade drivers, burn blood.
NOTHING!
Well I was getting a hang screen of either all white or all black, so I would alt tab out and then press the ok on the error message button. Then alt-tab a shit load of times and it would start working.
