i overclocked the host clock on my tnt2 : D goes like a rocket in fps's...well...90 fps in cs with alterations, /me fux

the 9700 is also over 60% faster than a GF4 4600 at stock speeds and almost double if overclocked.

it slows down when O/Ced?

I used to have a voodoo 5. it sucked how 3DFX dissolved.

a primary reason i trashed the card was due to the lack of driver support.

im in the same boat as shadow, about to buy a new card cos im sick of my nvidia tnt2 32mb. Im thinking about a good 64mb card or the cheapest 128mb one lol, wateva people in the computer "know-how" advise me whats best.

I think i need more ram as well, seems like 256 sdr doesnt cut the mustard anymore. I hate how quick computer techonology advances. I used to have the fastest comp on my block :(

Still, my friend has some piece of shit that runs at a whopping 133mhz :P . Poor bastard cant save money now hes renting.

im a radeon fanboy for lief.

i bought a radeon 3 years ago, i used to get 99 frames in cs and ir ran sooo smooth. ?but i wanted better, so for x-mas last year i got a gf3 xtasy. ?"yey" i thought. ?but all the happiness was over. ?the card sucked, the drivers sucked, the frames suck, IT SUCKED. ?i missed my old ati, but my dad already whored and sayed "haha". ?so now for xmas, im getting a damn ATI 9700. ?Also ATI is working on DDR2 (a processor on the card OMG)Technology for their next cards (never been done before), and it ssuppose to be hella fast, like a 128 is like having 1024 ddr. ?also they working on DDR3 (/me cums)... ati rules ?:D ?:D ?:D ?:D ?:smash: ?:smash: ?:smash: ?:thumbup: ?:cool: ?:cool: ?:) ?:P
