Acqua: My Offering <<1152x864 wallpaper>>

OKay... a few hours later, i've managed to satisfy myself with the results i was aiming for. A very hi-res well-defined wallpaper with a lot of details, that goes by the name of Acqua. This is my third attempt at a proper wallpaper, nonetheless im hoping it will find a home on some you ngr's desktops.

It may take awhile to load, but i deem it worthy.

i should study up on more styles like that, btw what's that style called?

considered any typo other than the numbers?

To tell you the truth I don't know what that style's called, so i dubbed it abstract. I used a lot of scanlines so i guess that modernizes it abit. I'm not too happy with the right portion, and the pizza shapes though. Typo, I don't really know. Any suggestions? I wanna make this better.

Wow very impressive. I really like the blue theme, but I personally prefer deeper shades of blue.

I've always liked stuff that has a 'centre stage' something very abstract etc in the centre with two symetrical 'borders?' its a really good effort especially on your first attempt.

A lass to say that light blue isnt really my colour more greys black dark blues. Before I give off an impression of being gothic I am far from!! So no I wouldnt use this wallpaper and secondly i'm running 1024x768!

hmm, well when i look at the center piece it makes me think of a scarab. btw do you have the psd of this still saved? if you do i'd really like to take a look at it if you don't mind.

as far as typo i don't really have any idea. was there something that inspired you do make a wallpap of that style ie music or something you read or saw somewhere.

it started when i was trying hard to come up with some different concepts for a website. eventually it evolved into this, it started off orange though. :)

I really had nothing in mind when i made this. I was just really messing around.

I'll upload the psd, and PM when its up. it'll take awhile though, gimme one or two days.

I suppose music has a great influence in my designs, but no specific music. The thing is love almost all kinds of music, from deftones to dire starits to reel big fish to in flames so it'd be hard to trace the influence. :)
