got some gud news the other day. my dad said my mom's walkin with a walker. she's been in the hospital for the past month or so. her health hasn't been that great the past few years and one night she got up to go to the bathroom and fell. upon falling she broke her tailbone and couldn't really move that well. she admited herself to the hospital to get her strength back up and stuff.
the last time i went to see her, i think she was kinda out of it, but she said she was gonna go home the next day. my dad and i were like, you haven't been on your feet in about a month and there wouldn't be anyone to help her at home. my dad would be there but they're both in their 60's and he wouldn't be able to lift her to help her out of bed and such.
well my dad sent me and my relatives an email yesterday saying that the nurses got her in a belt to support her and she walked to lunch with her walker. hopefully she'll be able to do this three times a day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, eventually being able to at least come home.
i know she really wants out cause she was bed ridden before and couldn't do crap but lay in bed and eat. it's like they are prisoners in that place. it just tears me up whenever i leave that place to come back to school cause i know it could be the last time i see her alive and such but this brightens my outlook on things for her and my dad.
whew that's a lot to type ^_^
