Cast No More

Got my cast off about an hour ago. It is so great to be free of that infernal thing. Damn does my leg smell funky not too mention that my leg is stiff as all hell. Doc says at a minimum of two weeks I can be fully operational and back in to the full swing of things.

I be drinking wild tonight... on a shittier note I wont be around till Saturday. I have a fuckin midterm on Friday that I am completely unprepared for so I am gonna have to stay of the comp for awhile till I finish taking it. I might jump on Friday night, but I am thinking of using Friday night to get ahead in my Macromedia Flash class.

Nice to hear that, Kindred.

I've also been taking Flash courses. Last lesson I had before my break we were supposed to make an object that we can move across the screen with arrow keys (ala space invaders) and when we pressed a button it would shoot something out. I made a cannon that shout out penises. My teacher saw it and nearly died laughing. :)

Back in October our dumbass Company Commander decided to take us on a Company run through a training area that is mostly old broken up blacktop. Well I managed to somehow get my foot in a pot hole and went tumbling down. After the run was over with I sat in the gym before showering pulling hunks of blacktop out of my knee and trying to clean up as much blood as I could before jumping in the shower and getting my blood all over everyone elses shower shoes and feet. Well around lunchtime that day my knee was starting to hurt somethig fierce so I told the platoon sergeant I was going to the TMC( Troop Medical Clinic). Once I got there and was seen they are like godamn sergeant how long you been walking around on that leg. I told them a few hours and the doc was like holy fuck I dont know how, your knee cap is in several pieces and a few are lodged in the hinge joint of the rest of your knee. Needless to say I got some minor surgery and a cast out of the whole deal. ;)
