The things people do sometimes just because of their religion is just ridiclious, outragous, and hilarious all at the same time. ?If people were not so religious, we would have no trouble in the middle east right now, hell there would be no "war on terrorism" all together. ?Stupid religion and people's close mindedness to not accept others.

After readin Mikes post it brought something else to mind about your statement...  How is your sentiments on the matter any different?  Stupid religion and people's close mindedness to not accept others... that is pure hypocrisy right there because you do not accept them the way they are.  You blame their religion for the war and trouble in the middle east, yet if you did some research it would not be the religion you should be blaming, but a horrible individual twisting the religion to fit their own sick ways and using the religion as a basis for sucking people in to aid his/her cause.  YOu also said things people do for their religion is just riduclous, outrageous, and hilarious... How is this statement not close minded?

I think I get what you are laughing at JFK, but since I dont get to watch much tv and I try to avoid the news anyways... well it isnt as funny to me.  I do know that they are all hypocrits up there anyways just waiting for someone to slip up in front of the media so they can pull any heat that might be on them off.

yeah I guess I need to rephrase it. ?I see nothing wrong with religion, and if the world did not have religion, no one would have anything to folow and there would be just kaos. ?However, there are those few who are so strong about their religion that they absolutley cannot accept others for the way they are. ?For example, people who think Harry Potter is just about witchcraft and that the author is just tryin to get people to worship the devil. ?Many relgious people believe this is true, but really they are some friggin books. ?Or people that cannot accept homosexuals. ?They are people too, and they just cannot help it if they are attracted to the same sex, its just genetics. ?I'm not very religious, but without catholisim, I dont know where I would be, you need some belief to keep you going and prevent you from breaking the law.
