Canada won the war ?

Yap, our merchant marines saved UK before the pussy americans got involved.

Also at the time canada had the third largest navy! We should have forced like each woman to have 10 kids, and we could have been the next germany. America would be little Canada, and we would have planes flying into our buildings!

And we would give you socialized health care.

Of course not, but if we decided not to use the nukes and the public later found out that we had them, it would be chaos.  And our government seeks to protect the citizens of the US, more than the citizens of the country that we're at war with.  That's the way it is.

On June 6, 1944, the Americans, with considerable help from the British and a hand by the Canadians, launched the largest Amphibious invasion in history. The beach assaults up Normandy were ####, especially Omaha Beach.

Erwin Johannes "Desert Fox" Rommel, one of the top generals/field marshalls in Hitler's army, was assasinated after being caught in a plot to assasinate the Fuhrer.
