ikonBoard omfg

I've been trying to install ikonboard, but to no avail. I've tried all I could, but desite my literacy, can't get it working. Was anybody here involved in the installing of this ikonboard that could lay it out for me? Thanks.

I've done considerable reading. A web host with Perl AND MySQL installed is another story. lol
