beaches along the Abel tasman walk North part of the South Island of New Zealand.

Water is in such rich supply as it gushes from the mountain sides... tropical to european settings make this so unreal.. We filled our canteans here.. notice how clear the water is? I hope nobody was drinking at the end of this stream though for a few reasons I won't mention..

River, mountains, clouds and trees.. a bit like the lands of Rohan in LOTR.. we went passed many LOTR locations and the bus drivers would always mention it ;0

U won't believe how low and fast these clouds come... one minute sunny the next cloudy ...

It took me a while to figure out why my friend took this picture.. then it hit me cause it was also in my mind.. er.. we quoted LOTR in NZ way to much ...

I couldn't see past that asians bald head to the left.. it was sooo unerving.. the pores moved around it was freaky and all..

lol thanks :)))

Yeah favourite quotes from lord of the rings at the time:

RED MEAT OFF DAAAAA BOOOOONE!!!!!

MALTEN BEER!!!

Sausages, eggs nice crispy bacon..

A word of warning to any backpacker out there:

DO NOT pack useless items of clothing and don't bring your whole wardrobe even if its small.. ?it doesn't matter out there if u wear the same stuff for longer periods of time.. ?most important is socks and jocks or whatever heh..

Save plenty of room for fooooooood... D: one of our treks started at 9am and went tille apprx 9pm or a little later than that as we were hastily trying to beat sunset.. that was the longest I think as most of our treks went from 9am till 6-8pm or so.. take plenty of energy powder thingy ma gigs to mix in your water but don't over do it cause Im sure when ur body requires liquids its best to have h2o most of the time, otherwise u'll get pimples D:.. 2 muelsi bars and a hot liquid dinner a day is not good .. not good at all and u know it gets bad when you jokingly fantasise about eating each other laughter ensues then long silence lolol It wasn't that bad but it was annoying.. D:

even the second trek we brought more food and it was still not enough...

so yeah my backpack broke at the end of the first trek and I had to ditch half my clothes at the next hotel we came to and buy a new2 backpack.. ?those things are damn expensive.. D:

Anyway just thought I'd share the trip with you guys and I give New Zealand a big thumbs up.. it is totally geared for tourists to see the savage nature .. Helicopter rides are available if u can spare apprx 50 - 75 USD and they can take u up to the glaciers an so on..

Its pretty mad we made it around the East, North and West Coast of South island and theres plenty of buses that will take u from point a to point B in a few hours..

ANother note:

Only wear worn in boots.. I bought new boots and I ended up having blisters the size of 20 cent australian coins.. As u may see Im wearing sandles in all those pics after that heh..
