shitty schools and death threats

Well, I finished school today. While I would usually be ecstatic about it, something else has been taking up most of my thoughts. We got our yearbooks in the beginning of the week and one of my friends wrote "Have fun during the summer! Don't have unprotected sex!" in a russian girl's yearbook in the back section reserved for notes like that. Well, it turns out that she took it really seriously and showed it to her father. The father then made a formal complaint to the school and my friend had to write an apology to the girl. I thought that it was all BS, seeing as how it was a joke and wasn't really offensive in any way despite its crudeness.

But that wasn't what bugged me. The father then left a message on his cell phone that went like this, full russian accent and all:

"If this is Ivar, then I need to say something... I saw that shit you wrote in my daughter's book. If you ever come near her again, I will fucking kill you. Do you hear that, you piece of shit? I will rip off your fucking balls, you little fucker. I fucking warn you and I will do it. So you stay the fuck away. You think you are so fucking cool and smart, but you are a fucking idiot. A fucking ugly shit, you dickless fuck. Why don't you go take a look in the mirror."

I found it amusing when I listened to it, but I also couldn't help but feel creeped out that this bastard was giving out death threats not only after making a complaint to the school (he was going to be punished any way, so what the fuck is with this shit?), but over a childish safe sex joke. The obvious thing to do was tell the Headmaster... who was out. So he instead went to the Senior School Principal. When he told her about it, she could only say "Well, you made him very angry... You need to rewrite your letter of apology." WTF?!?!?! This guy left him a disgusting and vile message of hate and she was only concerned about his apology letter? Well, he rewrote it, trying to say that mistakes were made by all people and that he hoped that this could be discussed in an appropriate manner by all. She then told him to rewrite that because apparently the ending wasn't appropriate. She only wanted my friend to blame himself for the entire incident. When he asked her to listen to the message, she declined and went back to her usual business.

Please, let me not be the only one who thinks this is a fucking crock of shit. For a school that talks so much about justice and tolerance, we sure do seem to be lacking them.

I don't really know how take the actual message off the phone and put it on the computer, unless I held it up to a mic. I'll try next time he comes over.

but seriously, tell that lady to fuck off. if she doesn't like what he wrote, she can write it herself, and then expect a letter from his solicitor sueing her for faking his identity. ehehhe. wins everytime. get him to write it, how he feels, and send it to the guy, not the school.

that's totally fucked up and out of order big fella. 'tis one of the biggest heaps of shit i have ever heard of in my entire life. schools are supposed to prepare people for the real world etc, and that the hoe is doing is everything but. that bloke sounds like a cock head - sure i'd be protective of my daughter, but if i were going to do anything about it i'd probably leave the message or make the complaint, but not both. especially since the message was after the complaint. the whole deal is crazy unfair. your friend made an error of judgment, faced up and dealt with it, moved on, then after the message all the shit starts again.

what a fucking joke mate. he should show the headmaster, and if that does nothing, make an official complaint to the schools board. take a bit of time but it's fucking unacceptable.
