voted pop. although we generally call them by the brand, like coke, or sprite, or seven up or pepsi, we don't generalise like you stereotypical yanks.

i just say 'do you want a can of something?'

i don't call them anything...

i do say 'do you want a coke?' if i'm getting a coke, because for some reason that's my non-alcoholic drink at the moment. if they want something else they say.
