IM GONNA SEE SLAYER WITH ATREYU(spelling?)

myself, my drummer, some russian kid i work with, his gay friend and some guy that speaks french are going to montreal for 3 days to see SLAYER@!@!@@#!@!@

this is gonna be my first real road trip and i cant fucking wait, its gonna be so much fun, we already made the deal, what happens in montreal stays in montreal.

i think we're gonna stay in a hotel too, im not sure. its great cause one of us speaks french and we're gonna get him to get teh crazy montreal hash for us!!! thats right...anyways

anyone ever see slayer live before? i missed them the last 2 times they came

im going to see them in montreal, then in august im seeing them again with judas priest, then im concidering going to ozz fest if it doesnt suck that much.

i really wanna see atreyu(sp?) too, i heard alot of their stuff and its pretty good for kinda hardcore punky shit, anyone see them live before??

my friend dan told me the first time he saw slayer the angel of death intro scream was like better then the CD, but the second time it wasnt as good, im not sure what to expect, but im hoping it'll be good...

awesome. You hould watch the "war in the battlefield" concert video to get an idea of what to expect. The vocals are indeed better on CD, however, the energy is still gonna kerpow your ass. should be a good show.

i have the slayer box set, and in some songs on the live DVD the vocals suck ass, im used to the nice south of heaven vocals of the cd, but when i heard south of heaven live his voice sounded so shitty, like he wasnt putting any effort into it.

i really hope it isnt a bad show, you cant really expect everyshow to be ass good as the last or what ever...

that's true... a lot of my fave songs were vocally messed up on the "war in the battlefield" like season in the abyss and dead skin mask... i think the fact that they played these songs toward the end of the show caused his vocals to start sucking... it was a long ass show...

Oh I forgot to mention that Slayer are one of the best fucking bands ever so it was worth it to go see them and I would like to see them someday but I'd probably get beat up by some huge hessian dude

Imagin how much it would suck to having to play angel of death and south of heaven ever single show, over and over and over and over. sure they're great songs, but they're like the 2 most popular and anyone that goes to a slayer show wants to hear atleast one of them for sure.
