I had a steal bar put in to my chest back in the eighth grade, my chest looked like zaphods. My surgery was a little different I have a huge insicion under my nipples instead of two on the side. I ended up playing 3 more years of football with the bar in my chest they took it out Junior year over christmas break so it really doesn't mess up your health/body in the long run. They didn't let me kept the bar though because of some biological waste law/rule, I am still pissed about it. In the hospital I had a little button and whenever I pushed it I got a shot of morphine, I can only hope mc will be as lucky. I was supposed too be in a for a week but I was only there like 4 days again hopefully MC will as lucky as the hopital sucks.
It is a genetic condition some people get it worse then others, kinda weird 3 people who post here have had it. My Dad has a slight one(no need for surgery) and this is completely weird but there is an even smaller chance it will grow outwards. They where afraid my little brother would develop this but luckily he didn't. I think the surgery is called a pectorus or some shit.
edit: Before anyone asks mine never set off metal detectors but around huge speakers/subwoofers I could feel it vibrate and sometimes I could feel it get cold if the weather was cold but that was very rare. Also coughing/sneezing sucked for a about a year it felt like someone was kicking my chest.
