ok, so I was sitting at a pool party and was joking around about the mormon religion which i so often do. And this kid asks me "Whats a mormon?" so I say, its a religion, like being Christian. Then he looks me straight in the eye and asks me "What christian?" I was a tad taken back by that question, so i say kinda confused like "Well, its people who beleive in Jesus." And I kid you not, he looks me right in the eye again, and asks me, yupp you guessed it. "Who is Jesus?" I was at a loss for words then, so someone else piped in to save me and says. "well, he died for all of our sins"

 

Him: "What's sin?"

 

 

Now tell me, I looked in his eyes, And i can tell if someone is lying to me or not, he looked dead serious. How can a person (he's about 13 i guess) not know what sin means? Or even have heard the name Jesus? I don't mean this to be a religious discussion but I know you guys here have at least a clue as to what these things are.

Kids these days aren't down with religion. Jesus just isn't marketable enough. I say we start putting him in rap videos with scantily clad women and spinnaz.
