In four weeks, one of us is leaving....

By October 1st, one of our greatest ;0 members is going to Iraq. He could be the most leveled headed and supportive guys we have around here. In these last few weeks, let him know how much he means to you, or just tell us a funny story of IRC hijinx.

Even though the chances of my coming back safe are incredibly high, this thread is to let this one person know how much we love and appreciate him. Just in case! :(

So I will start....

Kindred, without your support and advice, I would have completely left my girlfriend. With your intervention, we worked through our problems. You have no idea how much I valued your advice.

As many of you know, last month I went on vacation with Heather. I knew that fun would be had and I would go see friends and family. This vacation was more to me than that. Heather and I completely fell in love all over again. (something I never understood when others have said it)

Without you Kindred, I wouldn't be the incredibly happy fucker I am today. I wish you more than Godspeed..... I wish you home.

Thanks Kidnerd, you will be missed! Call on me if you need letters or anything from here I can send there.

Kindred, i know i don't hang out on irc and i'm not that big of a socialite here, but i wish you nothing but the best. i don't know if you've been in combat before, but if not, when you get over there, it'll be weird. but things will kick in and it will be automatic, just like you've been trained. god's speed my friend.
