ok guys the state of play with gamesurge.net is fucking awful at it's very best, so we need to find a new place to call our e-home.
i don't really have that much experience, so could people please suggest sensible solutions to the problem at-hand? it would be greatly appreciated and finally we can put all this shit behind us.

I like gamesurge because the only idiots it has are cs idiots, and i'm use to them, they're like your annoying cousin at the family reunion. I say we hold out before deciding on a network switch, see if they fix their shit. If it doesn't get to the "usuable" stage it was a couple weeks ago then fuck it I guess, but every network has its own bullshit, just ask #liek, we hopped networks every month till they finally settled on efnet, which imo, sux and is full of script kiddies etc.
Why can't the IRC server be setup on the same server as the scz webserver? This site must have low traffic as it is, and IRC wouldn't add much more traffic since its just text moving about. I'm assuming this won't work though since I doubt we have full control over the entire server...just a suggestion though. Hrmmmm
