Being the movie reviewer/l33t haxor/ninja that I am, I was able to get a early viewing of the new movie Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
Three years have passed since the last film and it has given us just enough time to forget the mistake that was The Phantom Menace. In this film there are more action scenes along with lots of special effects and some cheesy love story as well. It has a number of the same characters, and a few new characters come into the picture as well.
Some shots:
Anakin. Can't you tell how full of teen angst he is? Crawling in my skiiiiiiiiiiin!
Jar Jar Binks. Why oh why did they bring him back, why?
Princess Amadala. With more hot hot steamy head gear action. OMG U'LL CUM!!1
Arse-kickin Yoda.
My Star Wars knowlege on a scale of 1-10 is somewhere in the range of -5, so please be aware I may have spelled a name wrong or something.
While this film has an improvement over the last Star Wars, it is still lacking from the originals. The film ends at an odd time, making it seem more like you're watching part of a mini-series than an actual movie. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 8. It's entertaining, but the plot is lacking. Sure it's worth seeing on a rainy day, or to catch up with all your Star Wars geek friends. I predict just like the last one people will flock to it just because it has Star Wars in the name, find out it didn't live up to their expectations, and George Lucas will laugh once again all the way to the bank.
