kindred it sucks not having a car :( :(

i should be getting one around the november'ish time of the year, with any luck ;)

teknoe i don't really post anywhere much anymore - i'm usually too busy putting something else off...

vanquish V12's are sweet. vantage twin supercharged v8's are sweeter ;) (imo)

I always thought that subarus were australian cuz of the croc movie hunter guy...but I found out their jap cars.  Anyway you should get a subaru since they are sort of australian or atleast have an australian as the celeb that advertises the one brand of their cars.

yes subarus pwn... most likely the best handling car for the money. GREAT awd, tons of aftermarket. but they are 100% jap and they cost about 28k for base model. wait for STi and you are looking at 45k...

subarus are quality cars - my mum's got one ;) (not a sti, just a normal one). the sti's cost about AUS$56,700 which is around US$31071.9

seem a helluva lot cheaper than for you guys ;) just a shame i don't have a cool 56 grand sitting somewhere.

i need a car so fucking badly. i'm supposed to be getting one at the end of november, which is really shite because i have to wait until then to ask out girls...

oh well~

turbo vs all motor..........which is better? and what is your reason for sayin that?

In my Opinion, Turbo is a cheaper alternative to a bigger better engine.

Which is why true sport cars don't have 'em.

Take the Corvette for instance, or the Dodge Viper.

i'd rather have a 300zx V6 with twin turbo and 500 horses than a corvette with a V8 and 400 horses.

The Fairlady 300ZX is a beauty, but if there were a 300ZX and a ZR1 Vette parked next to eachother and I had the chance to walk away with one of them, I'd difinitely take the Vette.

The best modifier that currently offers ZR1 mods is Lengenfelter. he can do 650hp and a lot more but its hard to keep it street legal after the 675 mark.

i disagree, turbo is simply just a modification for overall speed. most of the good sports cars have them... but sports cars in general are not really meant for accel but for handling. but sadly there are next to no stock supercharged cars... i do not see the viper as a true sports car at all, it just has a huge engine, the handling is pretty crap. the corvette is pretty nice but i wont respect it very much unless it is the Zo6...

yeah the whole Lengenfelter corvette they did in motor trend or something, where they raced it against an f-16 jet... the one that was street legal and could do the 0-60 in 2.8 seconds... that blew my mind
