to add to it, the reason why she got pregnant was because she was a teenager.  She probaly thought, oh I cant get pregnant I'm too young.  If your a teenager you dont worry bout the future and never really plan shit.  Hell ask any kid in highschool what they want to do with their life, and they have no fucking clue.

I try not to take stuff personal its just every post I make you seem to try to bust my balls about it.  Its probaly just that you are trying to change my views and let me see the other side of things since i am an ignorant teenager.  Sometimes though I guess I dont post fully how i feel about things, so you only see part of it, like the post about religion.

I am not trying to change you mind I am trying to give you an adult/expirienced point of view on the matter.  I have led quite a full life up to now(and sometimes ottos jokes about me being 50 feel true).  I just try to help people out and give them whatever help/knowledge I can.  Dont get me wrong I can still be as goofy a dumb bsatrd as the rest, but when it comes to something serious I am going to be serious (unless I am trying to lighten the mood).

When it comes to blame, at least in the UK, it isn't her fault.  She is below the legal age of consent, so if her boyfriend was above it then their having sex was [statutory] rape, and if he was below it too then it's her parents fault for leaving them alone/not educating her etc.  Personally I would agree that, at least from the point of view of having a care-free, innocent youth, her life is screwed.

Personally, I really don't agree with you there.  As I get older, my respect for age increases more and more (ha ha), and I begin to realise why laws about age are put in place.  It may seem to you now that you are mature and responsible, but from personal experience I would say that now (I'm 18), I'm a very different person to who I was 3 years ago, and while I may have thought I was mature and sensible then, I realise now that I really wasn't (and probably in 3 years time I will say the same about me now).

Oh yeah, and girls as young as 10 or 11 are occasionally (or mebe often?) physically capable of having sex (and getting pregnant).

Assuming the child has received the proper education on the matter.  Now in some parts of the US kids understand quicker than others.  Kids who have been coddled and sheltered are not likely to fully understand the consquences.

and potato we have statutory rape charges here too.  I wcan also not totally agree with your statement about the parents.  There are several children in the world that are going to do their own thing even if mommy and daddy have told them the cons.  Hell some kids do it to spite their parents.  I do understand however that its just easier to blame the parents... I used to do it myself, but I have learned that in todays world that is usually not a viable option.

I got bumps (the goosie kind) from reading that. I suppose I feel bad that she has to deal with so much responsibility at such an early age. I suppose the way it sounds though, she sounds like she's happy about it so i guess i feel good knowing that. that way at least i can infer that she'll take care of the child. one less orphan in the world. :)
