Thats what you guys get when the server goes on alert for floods which is what happened that day.. ?yabba got himself a nice gline...

 

When you get disconnected for flood, you reconnect, you flood again, you get auto glined. ?You'll need to pm me, mr_133, or miekj for help.

 

The other thing is trying to connect repeatedly once after another, to avoid dos attacks the irc server has built in protection against connecting faster than 20 or 30 sec intervals.
