A celebration of cereal

As I sit here enjoying my bowl of Honey Nut Chex, I ponder about the greatest invention of all time, cereal. Cereal often goes unappreciated and most people think of it as only a "breakfast food". I am here to dispel such rumors and spread the good word.

Benefits of cereal

  • Relatively healthy

  • Low fat

  • Can be eaten at any time

  • Plenty of varieties to choose from

  • A long shelf life

  • Short preperation time

  • You get to eat it with a spoon

Now I must admit, I've grown out of some of my childhood sugar cereals, as they no longer appeal to my fine taste. I can no longer stand Lucky Charms, Trix, Fruit Loops, and other such cereals containing sugar flavored colors or mini-marshmallows. Cereals which get my mark of approval include: Honey Bunches of Oats, Golden Grahms, Apple Jacks, Honey Nut Chex.

Now take a moment to tell me about your favorite cereals and why you enjoy them so much.

Lucky Charms are fucking amazing, and after considering this thread I really freakin' want some. I seriously like almost every kind of cereal, barring the ones that are chocolate or shit like Cookie Crisp. Corn Pops, Raisin Bran, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, French Toast Crunch, Trix, Reese's Puffs, Quaker Oh's, Honey Nut Cheerios, Kix, Chex, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Frosted Mini Wheats.... UNNGGGGHHHHHFHHGHHhhhf To give reasons for liking each of these individually would take forever, especially since I know that I'm forgetting more. I could live off cereal if I had to. It's easily my favorite food "category," or whatever you want to call it.

I used to love Fruity Pebbles with added mini-marshmellows and whipped cream.
