East Coast vs. West Coast

The great East vs. West coast debate is a timeless argument. But is it really an argument at all?

 

West coast people think just because their hippie parents wanted to start a revolution by smoking pot and not taking showers in the 60's, that they're some how superior. Let's Look at the details.

 

East Coast:

Miami - Beaches, women, and guys named Cortez.

New York City - The king of all cities.

Boston - The coolest city you'll ever visit.

- Gentleman, scholars, and anyone who is anyone is from the east coast.

- Made up of European decendants who sailed across the Atlantic hundreds of years ago.

- Red Sox

- The center for news, politics, education, military, and anything important.

 

West Coast:

Los Angeles - The crown dump of all cities.

Portland - LOL Portland's not a real city.

Seattle - Rainy, cold, and crackheads on every corner.

- An entire seaboard composed of nothing but hippies.

- Made up of illegal mexicans who jumped the boarder last week.

- Dodgers.

- Homosexuals are the mainstay of the west coast.

I live in the middle now, but as a native from the East Coast I say:

The west coast is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people there. On the west coast you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the west coast motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.

-charlotte is 2nd biggest banking city in the states to new york (gg east coast wins)

-myrtle beach, south carolina. for those of you that know, that's a big enough reason right there.

-east coast definitely dominates college sports, particularly north carolina (NCSU, UNC-CH, Duke, Wake Forest)

although not all of these guys are totally east coast, they were southeast and that's east coast enough in my book for them to count. plus they're totally awesome.

I was going to let big_tex and Bush (TEXAS SUCKS) decide rather or not I'd go for east and west. However MikeJ told me that it's in the middle. This means that the point that Michael-Corleone lives in the East is the deciding factor.

See east coast people actually try to take this seriously and start naming off all these arguments that basically come down to "we have more people and got a century head-start in development." And they equate high-strung grumpiness as a positive trait. If i'm going to work up a heart-attack it's going to be with MCds.
