Let the thread load please :(
Ever since my getting my first digital camera, a Nikon CoolPix 3500, I decided to become the annoying twat in the group who takes pictures of everything (and post it on THE INTERNET). This will be a two threads due to the 25 megabytes of pictures. I won't include all the pictures, but the rest can be found in this directory: http://www.chickswithguns.net/nemo/pictures/2004/
PRELOGUE
Like some of you might know, my parents are and have been divorcing for some time, which brings me great joy, mostly since this crap has been latent for a long, long time. Not everything is fun, like moving. I love the new place and everything, but the actual moving sucks nuts. Anyway, I was leaving for Germany on July 4, and the move-in was supposed to take place on July 1.
My old room for the last 9 years:
A day later, my shit had been successfully moved to the new address (Odenplan represent).
And a little sneak-peak of the rest of the 100 sq. meters, 4-room place where I mainly will be staying with my father and a sometimes with my brother.
Oh my, I think it's time for act one!
ACT I - Germany - or - My three weeks with Ron Perlman
EPISODE I - The trip.
Waking up at an ungodly time in the morning, I got a ride to the airport of Stockholm: Arlanda.
After about an hour of flying, Zurich being my final destination, I arrived at Kastrup (Copenhagen) to switch planes.
Apparently, at Arlanda, I had been unable to check in my bags for both Stockholm-Copenhagen AND Copenhagen-Zurich. This meant I had to get my bags and check them in again. This would make me miss my Zurich flight. Which I didn't, because it was cancelled. This meant I had a good five hours on the airport. What to do? Take some pictures.
I found a cool old jew named Dave who took a picture of me sleeping. How adorable. Speaking of which, I was recently informed that I not only kiss, but sleep with my eyes a bit open. I tried this and took a picture, and it's true. I look like Linda Blair.
And we're off!
Cheap-ass Swiss flight who charged me 4? for a coke.
I'm a very intellectual reader.
After this I had to take the train to some place in Switzerland called St Gallen or something like that, where I was picked up by my dad's Swiss friend (who will be featured in the next thread).
EPISODE II - Lindau, Germany.
After quite some driving, I finally arrived at my destination: Lindau, Bravaria, just shy off both the Austrian and Swiss border. I was here in 2002 too (as featured in THIS age-old thread). I lived in the very same family this year. The same youngest kid was still cool, he was around 12 this time.
In 2002, I lived with a Swiss guy who didn't say much. This year, I had the pleasure of living with no one else than famous actor RON PERLMAN.
