Okay, my last lady thread was about a 14 year old, as you may or may not know. I ended up picking the safe road out and didn't do anything, which was to be expected. Just for your information though, I've been told that in Holland me doing a 14 year old would be legal, wtf?

Anyway to the point:

Girl

24 year old, and currently living together with her boyfriend with whom she has a 3 year old steady relationship. The guy is quite a bit older than her. Before her current relationship she had some troublesome relationships, to say the least. She is going to do her last year of school this year, and will surely succeed as she's smart!

Situation

I met her through my previous year of school, we didn't talk a lot during schooltime nor were we close at all, it's very strange and has it's reasons (which I won't state here.) The moment I saw her at first I couldn't help but stare though, she's very feminine, beautiful.

Our real friendship began on the last day of the previous schoolyear, where I asked her for her phone & addy; eventually we went out to grab a bite to eat on that same day. The following days we talked hour after hour after hour. In the meantime her boyfriend got very jealous; he's not used to her having a good male friend.

I went to their house last Friday, it was actually fun and the guy and I got along well, God hail alcohol thanks! We spent several days doing stuff this week, and it feels so right. We click, I know she likes me. She stands very close, talks to me in a certain way, and is definitely not afraid of any physical contact.

Now I'd certainly won't mind attempting a relationship with her, even though we're very good friends. I think that based on who we are it would definitely work. The only problem is: she is with someone and currently has a very stable life; something she hasn't always had to say the least, and something she deserves. At the moment I'm just holding back and being her friend. If she and I somehow got together I'd mess a lot up and once again throw her life upside down. I'm 20 which means 4 years younger than her, she's just a stage further in life than I am at the moment. It feels so right though, and in my opinion her current personality wise I'd match better with her than the guy she's living with. >_<

Do any of you guys have any decent advice. Also, please keep the stupid stuff out of here, go to yux thread!

You want her to end a relationship with a guy who she seems really happy with?

I have seen this far to often, you'll just ruine your friendship with her.

Stick with what you have now, be a good friend to her. The last thing she needs is someone coming in and, as you said, turning everything upside down. But keep close, in case something does go wrong in her apparntly stable relationship. And something may very well. Who knows. Stick in there, and let her decide herself.

There is no way you could approach her with this, unless you are willing to risk your friendship. Can you be sure that she likes you? I'm very good friends with my friends girlfriend.. we stand close and talk a lot, but she doesn't like me. I wouldn't risk the friendship if I were you.

just keep it the way it is. theres no reason to cause trouble especially when shes already in a seemingly stable relationship

I just know she likes me. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I am sure that I'll just keep being her friend, as I do not want to fuck up anything for her, it's already (been) troublesome enough. That and I really value our friendship. ;_;

Thanks :)

Well, this post is a bit redundant. Not only was I gonna say what mostly everybody else has, but you also seem to have made up your mind.

However, I will say that you're doing the right thing. If you care about her, and think things are going fine in her life, then it's better to leave it alone rather than possibly screw things up for selfish reasons.

Yeah dude, I'd just like to add that in my position I'd be very upset if somebody did that to me (not that anybody could possibly get along with either one of us any better though :mikej: )
