Wig Making

I'm gonna cut my hair off next weekend. But only on one condition: that I can find an effective way of turning it into a mullet wig (i.e. stick it all to a truckers cap). Does anyone know/can anyone think of an effective way of doing this?

tldr: I want to stick some hair* to some fabric. How?

you could lay it out on multiple layers of two sided tape?
