It's pretty clear and common knowledge that we have a LOT of incredibly bright and intelligent people on these forums.

The question is, how do we combine all this into some form of business venture?

I think we've paid our dues to the internet over the years, so it'd be good to get some kind of payback, and even better to all be make some money etc (collectively).

How do we go about this?

What can semicolon-zero do better than ANYONE??

we have our own brand of humour, and pretty much everything consists of phrases and such that have been created over the years, so maybe a clothing label?

ideas are where it's at so post your ideas if you have any!!!

post your skills, your passions, and ideas you might have or anything else you can think of!

I can knit stuff, also I can perform quack-medicine on anyone that takes ill in the company. The when I get my MD I'll charge outrageous amounts to perform real medicine.

Im becoming very good @ welding. I'm also very good @ fixing massive machine tools, and im learning outside sales. Oh, I can also make cool knives and swords for $0 cost. I don't know if that helps.

Or we could start our own Oil Company. Get the money for a small little rig, have round the clock shifts drilling, the thing would pay for itself in a few days. Then buy another, and another, and another. Profit!

OR. We find a supplier for some type of product that the general product would like (like you said, a clothing line or something) then get all the ;0ers to act as outside salesmen. That's at least 20 salesmen/woman on the road selling the product in many different locations around the world. We'd buy the product from the supplier at a low cost since we're buying direct, we'd act like a distributor for said company making the product, then all the ;0ers would earn commission off every sale they make.

If that fails I say we all pool our money together and build a pirate ship and sail the seas.

We'd have to worry about a few things here.

-We need a money man! Someone with lots of money thats willing to invest in our company. Or a big bank loan. Don't ask me though! I have horrible credit.

-Freight charges / shipping product. That can get very expensive and can ruin new companies within months.

-Finding a cheap line that we could pick up and sell. It would have to be easy to ship, something your average customer would want, and it would have to be a quality product that will beat all of the other compition.

-Will ;0ers actually bother trying to get this off the ground?
