I Have Cotton Candy Smelling Farts!!!

I ate some M&Ms for dinner last night as I didn't wanna waste time cooking a real meal, and now I have bad bad gas, but it smells really good.

Explain this?

perhaps your farts smell so horrably bad that the smell has distorted your mind into thinking they smell really good.

The gas particles may have been expelled from your ass at near relativistic velocities, which may be a result of the Voyager's warp engines being in there, causing a pulse train of shockwaves through the air that were at your eardrums resonence frequency, destroying them. Clearly, without your sense of hearing, everything smells like cotton candy. Simple physics.
