hair gels/wax

What do you use? I use American Crew hair gel but it doesnt work all that well.....if you touch my hair the gel comes out and it just makes my hair look too shiney cuz I have to use alot of it to be able to put my hair up in the front. I dunno what they use at the hair place but whatever it is it kicks ass......so what do you use to keep your hair looking good all day?
