Before the OTF and ;0, I was at a ton of various websites and their forums. The first real one I stayed at for quite some time was Nintendorks. The forums were pretty busy, and the members were great, but due to too high traffic, the site closed down. They had an IRC channel, and it didn't die with the site and forums, so I hung out there a lot. After Nintendorks, some of the old members moved over to a site called Project Reality. There were not nearly the number of members, but it was still cool. (during this time the only online game I played was Command and Conquer: Red Alert)

On 4 July 2001, the world changed forever. My old neighboor came to our new house for the 4th, and he talked about TFC. I knew what TFC was and I'd had Half-Life since it was first released, but I never really figured out/tryed to download or patch the game and install TFC. He showed me how and downloaded it for me, and from that day on, I was hooked.

I played TFC everyday, and soon I heard about other HL mods. I think I found the CS Forums around August 2001. While posting there, there was a community called Forumthon. They had they're own server, which was a lot of fun until they came up with all these bullshit rules and the place went to hell. I saw Axe's swirly OTF signature with the info about ;0 irc, so I joined up. I didn't hang around a lot at first, but soon I became a regular.

Well back in the days when I was pure and innocent and minding my own business I was lured into a ;0 irc chat room by a mysterious goth who then proceeded to gang rape me with fellow ";0" goers... after my net virginity had been torn asunder I became a shadow that would haunt these halls forever.. vowing never to leave until my quest for vengeance against COMA had been fullfilled. I now taunt him at every opportune moment. Destined to rock up to his front door step and surprise him with a big olde HOWS IT GOIN MAHT!??!!

To cut a long story short I had just finished school and I was working on a mod called russian front in my spare time.. he then seduced me and brought me here as aformentioned..

CS-OTF forums. I wondered where most of you had gone. The person I remember most is Field Umpire, when he was a mod over there.

definitely the OTF. I started posting there i think around 2001... i'm not sure though, as i never kept track... i heard of ;0 through the OTF tho, don't remember from who. I was never into irc. I'm still not into it, but find myself in #;0 more lately. I remember when i first got here and guys were working on a HL mod called "H4><0r 5tr1k3" that eventually died out... what really got me glued here at first was the art forum and how there were a lot of art stuff happening like designing stickers, wallpapers, etc... and then i eventually got started to hanging in the "chillin" forum where i realized what a great bunch of people there were in here. plus stfu n00bs were rarely seen, and dickheads are not rampant.

I used to hang out on Quakenet a lot, I was a server admin for UKTerrorist and generally chilled out with bean (who got me playing half-life in the first place).

I posted a little bit in the OTF and sometimes in the b@x forums, I met mr_lee by chance and we hit it off pretty quickly, he told me to come to gamesnet and join #cs-otf, which i did. I remember #iccs but was never really a regular until I joined #semicolon-zero and met the coolest people ever 8)

I think it was less than a week after starting to regularly chill on irc with you guys before my forumplanet account was banned, I totally blame all of you for that.

I actually blame Chomps for making the cheshrkitn site and encouraging me to host it, she wasn't too happy about it being posted in every single thread she made and for some reason had me permabanned, cunt

I have no idea how I found out about the Counter-Strike forums but that was where i started. From there I went to forumthon which was  but then they tried to turn into this mature Counter-Strike community which was made up of like 15 year olds with like 3 people above 25. Then I left forumthon and went back to the OTF. From there I found out about semicolon-zero some how. I got deleted from the OTF a while later because random was a huge faggot and chesrkitn was of course a fat and ugly bitch.

Now I am here.

My first message board was the emux forums where i posted alot when i was heavily into the emulation scene. A few years later when i started playing CS i discovered the otf. I lurked there for a whiole before i ever started posting. During that time i met some really cool people and eventually we all got sick of csotf and started up this ;0 thing. I didn't really have much to do with the creation of ;0, just kinda came along for the ride since csotf was becoming quite a hole.

As for IRC i started out years ago using it mainly for warez purposes. My first chan i was a regular in was #warez4u on undernet although i stopped going there around the time i started playing CS. A few years later i was on efne for some reason and noticed a chan by the same name and was surpised to find out it was actually the same people but they had moved servers. After that i starded checking out #pkk a few times although i never really spent much time in there. After #csotf was created is when i started spending alot fo time on IRC.

Interesting fact: I first met Hydrac 7 through the emux website a few years before i started plays CS.

I spammed the OTF for a good amount of time. I got tired of it and migrated here like alot of other people. Also h4x0r-str1k3 roxed I downloaded the beta only to find out it was borderline child porn from crushphoto.com I do believe. Also I have to thank for fr0d for introducing me to goatse while on the OTF.
